12th Ave Bridge
Seattle, WA - USA
Thanks to the awesome app from Trey Ratcliff "Stuck on Earth" I found this very cool spot in Seattle. Basically this Bridge on 12th Ave goes up over the top of all the highways that run in and out of the city creating all of these wonderful pathways of light that point to the skyline. This was not the best time or the best night to try and take this shot but it was the only chance I would get so I made the best of it. (for example there was very little traffic and I had to use a bunch of shots to get the headlight trails correct in the picture) Anyway it is a beautiful spot to just stand and take in all the lights and sound and I hope this picture lets you in a bit on that experience! If you ever get the chance this is definitely a spot worth visiting - and I do recommend the Stuck on Earth app for finding spots like this anywhere you go, I use it myself all the time! When you are shooting here, try to time your shots inbetween any vehicles driving on the bridge behind you. The passing cars and trucks cause vibrations on the bridge that can cause your shot to come out blurry!
