Chapada Diamantina (Diamond Plateau) is an extremely beautiful national park near Lençois, Brazil, and this was the tail end of the second best sunset we saw on the trip. For around a half hour Danielle and I ran back and forth on top of a rocky plateau to get shots of the sun going down over the valley on this side and the crazy orange and yellow light the sun was casting on all of the plateau cliffs on the other. I ended up favoring shots of the sun setting and frantically switched between taking tripod shots of my wife Danielle and I with the vista in the background and HDR shots. It was one of those times where it would have been awesome to be able to be in two places at once - so much beauty to take in, and so much beauty to photograph!
